Blue Pool

The Blue Pool is a short walk away from our doorsteps at Glengarriff Park Hotel. Having short accessible walks to beautiful views of Bantry Bay. The Blue Pool Ferry operates a direct route to Garnish Island where you can see wonderful views, as well as take a walk through the Italian gardens and up the Martello tower. The Blue pool offers lovely swimming spots everyone is assured to love!

The Glengarriff Golf Club

This is truly a club with a view! Glengarriff Golf Club’s nine holes are in one of the loveliest settings in Ireland, with scenic views abounding – the one from the fifth tee is exceptionally beautiful.The grassy lane between the second and third holes is part of the historic ancient road between Adrigole and Bantry, which also comes up by the trees, which run across the course near the eight and ninth holes.The Clubhouse was opened in 1989 by the Club’s Honorary President, Dr Maureen O’Hara-Blair, the famous film star. Visitors are always welcome, and generally may play all day.

Take A Trip To Garnish Island

Just a minute’s walk away from the hotel you’ll find a gorgeous harbour called the Blue Pool that’s home to a local seal colony who laze idly on the rocks. This harbour is where you will find the small ferry to take you to Garnish Island.
