Covid-19 Safety Charter

We are delighted to be able to take bookings and welcome our guests at Glengarriff Park Hotel.

We are continually monitoring our safety procedures to ensure the wellbeing of our guests. These procedures will be updated regularly following Government guidelines to address COVID- 19.

Before You Arrive

Our Hotel & Restaurant have been laid out to respect the government’s social distancing guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests.

We have installed hand sanitisers throughout the Hotel, Staff will be washing their hands every 30 minutes and using hand sanitisers.

Social distance signage is in place where necessary.

Check In / Check Out

Guests will receive a warm socially distanced welcome.

We will not be able to facilitate early arrivals or late departures as we give our full attention to preparing rooms to the highest hygiene standards.

Credit card terminals will be cleaned and disinfected between use.  Where possible we would appreciate if guests will pay online.

We encourage contactless payment where possible but will have safety measures in place should guests wish to pay otherwise.

On check out we ask guests to place their used key cards in a box and they will be sanitised between use.

Our Public Spaces

Hand Sanitising stations are located in reception, bar, Bistro and corridors.  Guests should use these to sanitise their hands regularly.

Cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces will take place frequently throughout the day.

All chairs and tables will be disinfected after each use.

All door handles, handrails, and light switches will be disinfected regularly.

Doors and windows will be kept open as much as possible.


Diners will be offered laminated menus that are sanitised after each use.

We offer disposable napkins on the table for each guest.

As with all public spaces, all chairs and tables will be disinfected after each use.

We have contactless payment available.

Guest Rooms

Guest information, paper and pens have all been removed.  Maps of the local area are available on request.

All soft furnishings such as cushions and throws have been removed.

All frequently touched points in the room will be thoroughly sanitised.

Bathroom glasses have been replaced with disposal alternatives.

Our linen is provided by an external company who will be following all COVID- 19 guidelines.

Housekeeping will not enter guest’s rooms during a stay, should you require a change of linen and towels please check with reception.

No food can be consumed in the bedrooms unless its room service form Hotel.

Staff and Management have been informed of all aspects of the COVID-19 procedures.  Should you feel unwell prior to arrival we request you to cancel your reservation, there will be no charge.
